Nothing like living the Montreal winter Bucket List! I want to thank the Montreal Tourism Board and the InterContinental Montreal Hotel for helping me make it happen!
There will be a lot more to come from the Girls In Montreal weekend, but I wanted to extend an extra special thank you to the following Montreal businesses for their hospitality and for exuding their wonderful joie de vivre…especially in the heart of a Montreal winter!
- Pêche Vieux-Montreal – experience ice fishing in the heart of Old Montreal
- Snow Village Canada – enjoy the unique experience of sleeping at Montreal’s Ice Hotel and dining at the Pommery Ice Restaurant
- Bota Bota – an afternoon relaxing in the water circuit on board an old ferryboat in Old Montreal
- IglooFest – dance the night away at the electronic music lovers giant DJ party in Old Montreal
I’d also like to thank Lola of Lola’s Travels for braving the blizzards and driving to Montreal. I had a blast!
Stay tuned for more stories and pictures from the adventures in Old Montreal!

No storm or bad winter is going to take away your fun huh!
Posted by andy1076 | February 10, 2013, 3:07 pmYou’ve got that right! Awesome winter getaway – they really know how to live it up.
Posted by Anita Mac | February 10, 2013, 3:19 pmIndeed! I heard that some people were skiinning to the local starbucks during the storm lol! I want to do that
Posted by andy1076 | February 10, 2013, 3:33 pmHiya, love the image which includes the pink hat and beautiful eyes. I found the page a bit in your face and I had a hunt to find the comment link. But saying that I don’t like busy, I like things nice and easy to move around. I just written a piece in the Community Pool about content and really if you like it then that all that matters.
Saying that you must have noticed that it looked busy or you would not have mentioned it. So if you think it is then – There you go you have answered your own question
