A friend from the Central Coast, just north of Sydney sent this to me and cracked me up! How perfect for Australia Day.

I am a firm believer in learning a little of the language of the country I am visiting, even if it is just thank you! Picking up the local vernacular – icing on the cake mate!
Happy Australia Day!

About Anita Mac
The bucket list just keeps growing! The more I cross off - the more exciting new destinations and activities I find!
I have been fortunate enough to travel a considerable distance over the years. My love of many things, including travel, cycling, kayaking and photography fit together like hand and glove. I have to keep asking myself....where to next?
I am happy to share my travels and photography through my blogs: http://traveldestinationbucketlist.com and http://anitamacphotos.wordpress.com Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! On to the next adventure!
Good one mate, this is a bonza post, a beaut little yarn, us dinky di Aussies had a rip snortin time yesterday throwing a few shrimps on the barbie. Nobody talks like this but somehow we all know the vernacular, the ones in the article are very funny, I can now add them to my fair dinkum, true blue vocab.
