Many thanks to my friend Seb Oran of PlanetSeb for sharing her amazing photography from travels to Dubrovnik. Her photos and stories inspired me. Before heading out on my Camino experience, I will be taking 2 weeks in Croatia to soak in the culture, atmosphere and come down from the decision to take a break (see: Transition Zone).

You will LOVE Croatia! One of my favourite places. Dubrovnik is a wonderful city – definitely walk the loop up on top of the ramparts, the views are amazing. If you can try to get to Cavtat (just down the road from Dub), it is the perfect fishing village with great food, great secluded swimming spots…My dreams are made of Cavtat! Enjoy your trip!
