Summer in Paris…the Romantic City! Internationally recognized, how can a trip to Paris be complete without a photo of the iconic Eiffel Tower?

I visited the Eiffel tower while recovering from the Thrills and Chills of PBP – an arduous cycling event that happens once every 4 years. It was fantastic to chill in Paris, cafe hopping and people watching!
Happy Monday Morning!

The bucket list just keeps growing! The more I cross off - the more exciting new destinations and activities I find!
I have been fortunate enough to travel a considerable distance over the years. My love of many things, including travel, cycling, kayaking and photography fit together like hand and glove. I have to keep asking myself....where to next?
I am happy to share my travels and photography through my blogs: http://traveldestinationbucketlist.com and http://anitamacphotos.wordpress.com Hope you enjoy them as much as I do! On to the next adventure!
It is a happy Monday morning for me because Bradley Wiggins won the Tour de France, and another Brit Chris Froome was on the podium too, with Mark Cavendish winning the sprint. What is this world coming too when the Brits start winning. Good news for the Olympics do you think? With Bradley participating in the Road Race do you think he can get the gold?
Loving your posts by the way.

Posted by katehobbs | July 23, 2012, 2:32 pmThanks Kate. It was certainly an exciting Tour! Congrats on the Brits triple – very impressive! I think Cav is in good stead to win olympic gold in the road race. Perhaps Bradley for the TT, but I have a not so secret crush on Fabian so will dig into my imaginary Swiss heritage and cheer for him! For the women – I am all Canadian – my cheers and jumping up and down, yelling at the tv, will go to Clara Hughes – I pray she will make it! (If not, fellow Canadian Joelle Noumainville is high on the list – I may have actually raced against her once – although I am sure she would have beat the pants right off of me!)
Looking forward to the games with baited great! Happy Monday.
Posted by Anita Mac | July 23, 2012, 7:19 pmI cannot begin to describe how much I love Paris and the Eiffel Tower. I don’t have how many hundreds of people are around, the tower is so worth checking out. Although during my last visit I got there after midnight (http://bit.ly/HbjvJh) and I felt like I had it all to myself…
